Replace Indoor Coil Remove leaky damaged coil and pump down refrigerant into out door unit Install new OEM coil + filter drier and purge with Nitrogen while brazing Complete leak test with Nitrogen to 500 PSI Evacuate system to below 500 Microns Check charge and add refrigerant as needed. If system is flat add refrigerant charges per pound as needed Record super heat, subcool and temperature split 03/17/25 Replaced indoor evaporator coil under manufacturer warranty.
Began to perform an AC check on the system. I observed the compressor was not running and when it would try to start made internal mechanical noises. I found the capacitor tested week for the compressor and for the outdoor fan motor. The outdoor fan motor has bad bearings And is difficult to spin. The contactor is burnt over years of use. Recommended acing the system due to the scope of repairs and the age of the system 2004.

Performed a membership visit in cooling. Found the unit displaying a low charge and found the indoor coil is leaking. Indoor coil is under warranty and is under the wife’s name Lennox with the last name of vote. The order number is 39413818
Performed A/C check up on Trane gas split system. No found issues at time of visit.replace filters supplied by homeowner. System operating properly at time of visit. Also ran furnace and checked operation while on site today. Furnace operating properly.

The defrost control board did not go through proper sequence when prompted. The reversing valve wire, and the coil thermistor had been chewed by a rodent, causing the board to short out. I repaired the thermistor after determining it, had proper readings and repaired the reversing valve wire I replaced The defrost control board and verified proper operation
The west package unit fan was not shutting down. I found a setting in the ecobee that was maintaining the fan for 15 minutes out of the hour. I checked the low-voltage wiring and found it was taped up. I remove the tape and found exposed conductors, causing the unit to short together. I replaced the section of thermostat lead and verified operation. The unit is operating properly.
The indoor blower motor is only running in circulation mode. I ran some tests and found the blower. Motor is bad. I checked the outdoor unit and found a blown capacitor. I recommended an inrush device to help prevent blown capacitors. I installed a condenser starter and dual capacitor and ordered the indoor blower motor. Need to return with blower motor. Returned and replaced the motor. I verified dip switches for the system. The unit is operating properly
